If you would like to know how I folded my paper cranes, you can find out here at this helpful website.

This is a 2-color logo I designed for the Sebastian County Humane Society. This was designed using Illustrator.

This is a 3-color T-Shirt design for the WATC program at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. The design was created in Ilustrator.

This logo is for a fictitious company we had to create. The company is BENTO, an anime distributer who licenses and dubs animations from Japan. I wanted to create a logo that customers and loyal fans can trust. Fans especially, are very protective about their products, so I made the logo where the colors symbolize Japan itself : Red symbolizes the Flag of Japan, Black for the calligraphy, and Pink for the famous sakura trees.

This is the stationery suite for the fictitious company BENTO. The suite was designed using Illustrator and InDesign.

This is a full-page magazine ad for the anime "Soul Eater." The ad was created with Photoshop.

This is a half-page magazine advertisement for the anime series "Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei," (translation: Goodbye, Mr. Despair). The ad was made with Photoshop and InDesign.

This is a manga advertisement. Manga is basically a thick comic book with it's dimensions around 4.75 x 7.25". In the back of the manga, other mangas or animes are advertised. This ad was created with Photoshop and InDesign.

This is the Standards Guide for Bento. A standards guide is a booklet that tells graphic designers and advertisers how to use that company's logo properly, what colors and fonts to use, correctly using the stationery suite, and so on. This guide was made in InDesign, Illustrator, and some Photoshop.

This is a foreign film poster for Iceland. It is advertising that a local theater is showing Icelandic films at a two day event. The poster was designed in Photoshop.

This is a fake newsletter "N3rD: Talk Nerdy To Me." The top image is the outside and the bottom image is the inside. The newsletter was made in both Photoshop and InDesign, with pieces of Illustrator as well.

For this project, we had to insert ourselves on the front cover of a magazine. This cover was made using Photoshop.

This is the inside spread of the self-insert magazine project. This two page spread was made using Photoshop and InDesign.

The top design is the outside of the portfolio invitations. I was trying to design an invitation that shows how competitive designers are. Above is the inside design of the invitation. This was made using Photoshop.

This is a tri-fold brochure design. This was made with InDesign with some Photoshop.

This is a die-cut menu for the Sweet Bay Coffee Company. This was designed using InDesign and some Photoshop and Illustrator.

For this project, we had to find a typeface and design around it but the design had to be dark overall. The typeface is suppose to be the name of a band while another typeface gives the date and location of when and where they are going to play.

This project was basically a free-for-all. We got to design it however we wanted with one or two restrictions. We are given a letter and had a to find a word that started with that letter, then design around it. Lavacultophilia means 'the desire to stare at someone in a bathing suit.'

This project was a challenge. We were given a bag of stuff and had to make a photo of our set-up. Our theme was to design with what was "Graphic Design in the Modern World." So for mine, I have two men overdoing an idea or concept in Graphic Design, hence the broken lightbulb pieces. There is 'blood' oozing out of it too.

For this project we had to make an art period modern. I chose Minimalism (1960s-1970s) which uses as little shapes and concepts as possible. It basically the opposite of Abstract Expressionism. Here I made an advertisement using the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith as my base. They now have a Fine Arts major so I used the colors and the design to appeal to those who wish to major in that field.
